EL&D have been responsible for some of the most exciting and extensive lighting systems within the licensed trade throughout Ireland.
Their experience has seen them create breathtaking lighting shows in the nightclub sector - everything from elaborate exterior lighting through to subtle scene-setting in trendy wine bars and restaurants.

Effects lighting has seen a turnaround in more recent years, where the days of monstrous moving rigs cluttered with hundreds of lights has now been surpassed by more powerful lighting. Today's intelligent scanner fittings can provide a complete range of colours & projected imagery in varying lamp wattages and with the use of intelligent moving head (yoked) effects, a full 360° coverage can be easily achieved in any environment.

Architectural Lighting has become an integral part of design specification, highlighting both internal and external features. Constant product development has witnessed the recent introduction of LED lighting.
This particular type of product enables the client to make substantial savings on not only running costs, due to it's low power consumption and long life expectancy (50,000 hours), but also the possibility of extended tax relief on purchasing an 'energy efficient product'. Full spectrum colour changing (RGB - 16.7 million colours) allows the mood of a room to be changed at the touch of a button.
Lighting desks are no longer used solely for operating 'disco lights'. Environmental lighting control can be as important to your project as the light fittings themselves. Like everything today, technology has allowed miniaturisation; once clumsy desks have been reduced to small, decorative wall-mounted panels.
Why tie-up your staff adjusting lighting levels throughout the venue (very often where lights can't even be seen from the control point), when you can have all your lighting programmed to respond to the touch of a single button? your lights will no longer burn through the night because staff left them on. You can have your lights automatically come on or off when people enter or exit the room, further reducing running costs. Think how much a venue could save on electricity bills by utilising energy efficient fittings linked to a fully-programmed lighting controller.
